Selections for Saturday, September 13th

How often does a team coming off of a 63-point loss become a 2-point favorite in their next game on the road? That's the case this week with Washington State visiting Baylor...I won't go near this one.

Updated 9/14: So, I think some of the lines moved after I made my selections but since I just get my lines off of the Yahoo! College Football page I'm just going to go with whatever the spread was when I made my picks. I'm not going to be that much of a stickler.

This week was brutal...nice of UCLA to show up in Provo for the kickoff because they were completely absent the rest of the game.

Georgia (-7) at South Carolina (Georgia 14-7; PUSH)
Oregon State (-11.5) vs. Hawaii (Oregon State 45-7; WIN)
Kentucky (-16.5) vs. Middle Tennessee State (20-14; LOSS)
UCLA (+8) at Brigham Young (BYU 59-0; LOSS)
Michigan State (-17) vs. Florida Atlantic (Michigan State 17-0; PUSH)

Last Week: 3/5 (60%)
Overall: 6/10 (60%)

I'm taking the other side of UG/SC:
Georgia at South Carolina (+7.5)
Under (43) UG/So. Car.

Wisc vs. Fresno St (+2)
Cal vs. Maryland (+14.5)
OSU vs. USC (-11.5)

You sold me on UCLA +8 vs. BYU.

I thought about that Cal/Maryland game...Cal might be due for a letdown.

That UCLA game looks easy...of course, whenever I say that I end up on the losing end.

59-0?????????

Good lord.

How about the Terps! And for Greg Roberts turning me on to the potential for a low scoring UG/SC game which magnified the point spread (and barely made it).

What happened to UCLA? And what's that say about Tennessee?

Great pick on that Maryland/Cal game.

That Mich. State game was brutal as well...couldn't they score 1 more freakin' point?

Does the "2" include a nibble on that UCLA game?
