Selections for Saturday, October 4th

We need some winners this week...and we need to crack .500.

I'm banking on BYU puttin' a hurtin' on Utah State; the Aggies only show a win over lowly Idaho to their credit. BYU has been scoring on everyone and are coming off back-to-back shutouts. Their weakest game of the year was at Washington, but playing at USU should be much easier.

Hawaii is pretty down this year and has to travel to the mainland to face a Fresno St. team that has played some close games the past few weeks. FSU is 1-3-0 ATS. Hawaii is 1-3-0. I like the Bulldogs, minus the points.

Oregon put up a ton of points against out-manned and undersized Wazzu last week. SC is going to be pissed after blowing their NC hopes in Corvallis. I like the over.

Illinois played a great game at Penn State last week, but I think it's a little much to ask of this Illini team to do it twice in a row on the road. Michigan's offense finally showed life in their win against Wisky and their only favored by a meager 2.5 points. I like the Wolverines, minus the points.

BYU (-28.5) at Utah State (LOSS)
BYU at Utah State (Over 59.5) (LOSS)
Fresno State (-22.5) vs. Hawaii (LOSS)
Oregon at USC (Over 56) (LOSS)
Michigan (-2.5) vs. Illinois (LOSS)

Current Odds

Last Week: 2-3-0 (40% / 60% / 0%)
Overall: 9-14-2 (36% / 56% / 8%)

I'll see you on the Michigan game and raise you Purdue with the points against Penn St.:

Florida St/Miami (under 43)
Purdue (14) vs. Penn St.
Michigan (-2.5) vs. Illinois
Wisconsin (1.5) vs. Ohio St.
Colorado (13) vs. Texas

I wanted to get into that Wisky-OSU game but I don't like the spread. OSU looks shakey but I wouldn't be surprised to see Wisky get hammered.

Great call on the under for FSU/Miami, those teams aren't nearly the offensive forces they used to be.
