Goldolphin Mile up next
A pretty bland affair on paper…Desert Party has some nice form but the rest of the field isn’t a particularly impressive bunch.

Calming Influence with the upset over Desert Party and Green Coast
Calming Influence stalked the pace, pulled away at the top of the stretch and held off the closers at the wire. Speed doesn’t appear to be at a disadvantage on the Tapeta surface…of course, we have no clue what the fractions are.

UAE Derby 10 MTP
The filly, 3-Raihana, ran a huge race in the UAE Oaks last time out at this distance. Don’t know what she beat that day but it was a big effort. She’s 51/ in the international pools.

Looking at the Timeform ratings...
Musir is the standout.

Big race from the filly, Raihana, but Musir takes it by a couple lengths...
pretty formful…Musir, Raihana, and Mendip appear to have gone 1-2-3.

and that 5/1 ML on Rocket Man didn’t last very long. Now 9/5 in the international pools.
Gayego seems to be hit or miss on the synthetics…Rocket Man, however, runs all out every time.

An exacta with the 9-Regal Parade and the 6-Rocket Man looks enticing
9 is 26/1 on the board but he’s sporting a decent Timeform rating in prior sprints.

Dar Re Mi with the win. I’ll never understand north american betting on international turf races. Dar Re Mi goes off at 14/1…fantastic odds on a good mare that ran 5th in the Arc.

World Cup is approximately 40 minutes from post...
Gitano Hernando takes the early action at 3/2. Gio Ponti at 3/1. Everybody else 7/1 or higher.

Twice Over at 7/1 and Vision d'Etat at 10/1 are my upset plays.
The Baffert horse, Richard’s Kid, is another possibility at 7/1. Lots of value once you get away from the top two in this race.
