I wasn't able to watch the Apple Blossom live this afternoon but the first thing I did when I got home tonight was to que up the race replay on the DVR. Zenyatta's win was about as easy as everyone believed it would be but it was still incredible to watch the way in which this mare wins each and every race.

The Apple Blossom wasn't the deepest or toughest field but I wonder if that even matters for Zenyatta. Every race she runs hard enough to pass all others on the track and then pricks her ears as if she's out for a Sunday stroll. Maybe the only way to beat her is to take back farther than her and try to pass her in deep stretch? Who knows.
