Rule out of the Derby
The connections of Rule have decided not to run in this Saturday's Kentucky Derby. The horse is not injured but, instead, has not been working to their satisfaction.
Rule is still a possibility for the Preakness.
This defection opens the door for Jackson Bend to make it into the Derby field.
