Churchill Downs declines to renew NTRA membership
I honestly don't know what this means on a real, day-to-day basis for the NTRA. It's not like the Red Sox deciding to leave the American League, as the NTRA really isn't a true organizing or governing body.

Gotta Be Bad News For NTRA.....
…we are heading toward just two entities running most of the racing in this country, and I think this act is probably a strong clue that neither of those two really want some third party trying to play commissioner. The sad fact, however, is that if ever a sport needed a commish, this is the one.
Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.
