Natalma & Summer Stakes: Entries and Post Positions

Due to the newness of each race, there aren't a lot of traditional "prep races" for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf and the Juvenile Filly Turf.  However, Woodbine Race Track in Canada has a couple of excellent juvenile turf events scheduled for Saturday afternoon - the Grade 3 Summer Stakes and the Grade 3 Natalma Stakes

Dreaming of Anna, champion Juvenile Filly in 2006, won the Summer Stakes against the boys prior to winning the Breeders' Cup at Churchill Downs.  The 2008 Summer Stakes produced Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf starter Prussian, while in 2009 the race produced two entries in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf: Bridgetown (who won the Summer Stakes and then finished 2^nd at the Breeders' Cup) and Becky's Kitten.

In 2008 the Breeders' Cup added a turf race for juvenile fillies and the inaugural field included Natalma winner C Karma.  In 2009, the Natalma produced two starters in the Juvenile Filly Turf: Jungle Tale and Elusive Galaxy (IRE).

Below are the entries and post positions for the Saturday's Summer and Natalma Stakes at Woodbine.  I'll have a preview of these races later on this week.
