Good point on 3yo champion
Lookin At Lucky pretty much just needs to run well in his final two races to sew up 3yo honors. If he were to flop and Paddy O’Prado were to finish up well (something like winning the BC Turf), I think he might grab the top spot even though he’s done his winning on the grass.
It’s pretty bad when the Derby winner, Belmont winner, and Travers winner all miss out on the Breeders’ Cup. And look at the winners of the big Derby preps: the Wood (Eskendereya), Arkansas Derby (Line of David), Florida Derby (Ice Box), Blue Grass (Stately Victor)…the 3yos have either gone off form since the Triple Crown (Ice Box and Stately Victor) or been knocked out by injury (pretty much everyone else).

I suspected Lucky would take it anyways
But thought maybe if AE won his next race and hit the board in the BCC while LAL cratered in his last 2 outtings then Afleet Express might take it.
I hadn’t considered Pady O’ Prado – that could be interesting if he somehow won of BC Day.
