Several years ago opening night fell on tax day. The drive down to Auburn required me to stop by a Post Office so that my buddy could get his 1040 in the mail on time.

Is it weird?
To make sure I get the dayoff 3 months in advance? I’m excited, can’t wait to hear about the total purse size and whether that is decreasing along with the dates?
I'm guessing purses will be about the same...
Looks like the decrease in 8-dates comes from not going to Thursday through Sunday racing until July.
