Amazombie wore down a game Force Freeze in deep stretch to win the 2011 Breeders' Cup Sprint at Churchill Downs. Favorite Jackson Bend closed to finish 3rd, while Aikenite rounded out the superfecta.

Amazombie, trained by Bill Spawr and ridden by Mike Smith, is a five-year-old gelding by Northern Afleet. He won the Grade 1 Ancient Title at Santa Anita in his last start.
