NBC/Versus To Televise Saratoga Stakes Races
Saratoga and NBC have reached an agreement that will provide coverage from the historic track on all seven Saturdays during the meet. The coverage will be centered around the Grade 1 stakes races and will be shown on NBC and Versus.

Media Exposure
The more mainstream media exposure the better. But with the one hour slots it looks like they will just show the one race.
Yeah, probably one, two at the most.
Still, it is some network coverage, which is nice.

LA, you were all over it.
This partnership looks very good in terms of greater racing exposure. And, I think Vs. coverage has been pretty good when compared to ESPN’s.

It's good for Versus too
Other than the NHL (and the occasional college football or basketball game in the fall), they don’t really have a stable of good programming I wouldn’t be shocked if they tried to carry even more races in the future if this works out for them.
