Pool Play Upsets Grade 1 Stephen Foster at 36/1
Do we need any more proof that the older horse division is wide, wide open?
Coming into the Foster, Pool Play was 5-for-27 lifetime, with all five wins coming on synthetic surfaces. His only win against graded stakes company came in 2009 at Woodbine in the Grade 3 Durham Cup. He is now a Grade 1 winner.

An odd day too...
So apparently the King of Dubai cut a check for all of the purses at Churchill on Stephen Foster Day. That’s almost 1mil. Plus there was an arabian stakes race. that was before the 3 Gr 3’s and the Foster. Really weird.
He must have used his parking meter change.
I’ve watched that Arabian race the last two years; it’s certainly night and day from a t-bred race.
