I wonder
if Pletcher is using this as a workout while hoping to place or really trying to be UM to win after alreay working him back into elite form? I haven’t seen any of his workouts so I’m just speculating at this point.
Yeah, he's not even ready for a work at this time...
so tough to know if he’ll be ready to run in five to six weeks.
I’d love to see him come back and add a little added star power to the mix at the end of the year but I wonder about his fitness level given how little he’s actually raced since last November. The Timely Writer, the Wood and….nothing. He’s essentially had one real race in over nine months.

Seems really really optimistic to me
I mean if he doesn’t even have a clocked workout you’d think that he’s still just chillin. I’d guess that means hes got 5 weeks to prep and five workouts to run: 2×4f; 1×5f; 1×6f. I’d also guess that he’s at an off track training facility right now and is probably breezing quarters, if he’s even at that point yet.
Just read this today at DRF
apparently he galloped 1 1/4 miles at SAR this morning. Reading Pletcher’s comments about the schedule, it doesn’t seem like he’s going to get a ton of work during the next few weeks.
I agree with you, seems like a really optimistic goal.

I wish that was more specific
My bet is that he just jogged. Or maybe jogged a mike and worked a quarter. I’ll have to see if a workout posted, but I’d doubt it.
