Del Mar to offer 14% $0.50 Pick 5 for 2011 Meeting

The Pick Five will be similar to the Hollywood Park "Players Pick Five" and will include the first five races on the card each day. In addition to the new Pick Five, the Sunday Pick Six will have $50,000 of "seeding" money put into the pool. The amount is not subject to the takeout and is essentially a "guaranteed" carryover into the sequence every Sunday's. Not a bad kicker if you are a Pick Six player. The 2011 Del Mar meet kicks off next Wednesday, July 20th.
