Blind Luck Edges Havre de Grace in the Delaware Handicap
I'm going to be without my computer for another day or two, leaving me with the ability to only post comments and FanShots from my mobile devices. Sometimes I hate the computer age. Hopefully things will be restored to normal in good time.
A fantastic race at Delaware Park yesterday afternoon as Blind Luck nosed out Havre de Grace at the wire in a thrilling renewal of the DelCap.
At the wire, Blind Luck and Havre de Grace were 18 1/2 lengths ahead of their nearest rival, Life At Ten. At least LAT finished ahead of the two long shots.

Life at ten
18 1/2 lengths behind and completely gave it up on the turn. She was a nice horse, time to let her retire – she’s been a good one, but just can’t compete like she used to.
Agreed.
I suppose the 3rd place money is nice for the connections, but a former Grade 1 animal getting beat by almost 20 lengths is not a pretty sight.
