Super Saturday & Arc Sunday
Other than Breeders' Cup weekend itself, it's hard to find another two-day period on the racing calendar with more top class racing than the first weekend in October. On Saturday, fifteen graded stakes races will take place across North America; nine of those fifteen stakes races are Grade 1 events, including the Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont and the Goodwood at Santa Anita. In Europe, Longchamp will kick off the Arc festival with four Group races on Saturday, followed by seven Group 1 races on Sunday, including the 2011 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
The entries for many of the Super Saturday races will be drawn this afternoon. Entries for the Arc will be final on Friday.

It really is a helluva lineup
Kind of a shame Vs isn’t carrying any of it – but I suppose now that football is in full swing the suits at NBC don’t figure it’s a good investment.
That's what I was thinking...
I know they will have a Keeneland show the following weekend, but it would have been great if Belmont or SA had something on tap for Saturday given how much good racing is taking place on both coasts.

I just read this on DRF.com
The Kelso, Beldame, and Jockey Club will be shown live on ESPN Classic during a three-hour broadcast that begins at 4:30 p.m. Eastern. Both TVG and HRTV will show the races as well, with HRTV having on-site coverage provided by Carolyn Conley and Richard Migliore.
Looks like the Belmont races will be part of a broadcast on ESPN Classic on Saturday. Not exactly prime coverage, but probably as much as can be hoped for during college football season.

Looking at entries and
Morning Line odds, how the heck is Dean’s Kitten 15/1 ML for that race? Did they not see his last race where he went off as a huge long shot and came in a nice 3rd to Cape Blanco and Gio Ponti? I understand Cape Blanco is in the race, but I was really surprised to see him the longest shot on the board for that race.
I will definitely have to make a trip to the Turfway to put a WPS bet on Deans Kitten. I know he wasn’t great last fall but really since coming back in February he’s run pretty well.
Especially when you consider how hot Maker is right now.
Guy is really pushing the right buttons lately.
I like Dean’s Kitten tactical speed in this race, especially in a short field. Cape Blanco will be tough to beat but, like you said, 15/1 seems high.

Maker was really
Hot last weekend at Turfway, which continues his dominance there from last meet. I watched that last race by Dean’s Kitten, for a little bit it looked like he may get up for the W, but Cape Blanco took off. He almost got 2nd, but Gio Ponti got him just a bit before the wire. I was really impressed with his last race especially considering what he was up against in the Arlington Million. I have a soft spot for the Ramsey’s horses anyway since I see a ton of them here at Turfway too.
He pretty much made the Ky Cup his own playground last weekend, didn't he?
