Just wanted to post this for future visitors to Gulfstream, particularly those with kids. There is literally nowhere to sit to view the races unless you pay for reserved seating. The "outdoor" paddock is actually more like an indoor show ring, the refurb a few years ago turned this once-beautiful gem of a racetrack into a typical casino-like place. I used to go to Gulfstream a few times a week. Now I hardly go at all. Yesterday, the quarter horses running at old Hialeah drew as many patrons as Gulfstream did!
