A report from Ray Paulick regarding the 21-year "suspension" of trainer Jeffrey Heath Reed for drugging quarter horses in New Mexico with the Class 1 substance, Demorphin, or Frog Juice. He was recently racing horses in Oklahoma due to a court issued stay. Needless to say, this is the kind of garbage that the industry should not and can not tolerate. Unfortunately, the slow moving nature of administrative rulings and the court system allows a seemingly endless parade of stays.
