The last of the major 2012 Kentucky Derby preps will take place today at Keeneland and Oaklawn Park with the Blue Grass Stakes and Arkansas Derby. Each race features strong morning line favorites: Hansen in the Blue Grass and Bodemeister in the Arkansas Derby. Both races will be televised on CNBC

Conflicting reports out of England on whether Frankel (GB) has been retired. TVG initially stated on the air that the colt ha been retired, but the Racing Post just tweeted the following:

Teddy Grimthorpe confirms on RUK Frankel has NOT been retired.

Now it appears the initial report relied on by TVG was incorrect.
