I was so lucky, my mate has a sprinter with David Nicholls, so we managed to get a couple of access all areas badges on Wednesday.
I said I would get some pictures of the great day - seeing the mighty F.
The place was jumping - it's a fantastic racecourse even when it's pissing it down. Wednesday was mad, I feel so privileged. Me and my pal went to stables about 15:25 as Frankel came out and was set up for pre parade. I was ready to take pics but Hency Cecil looked like a ghost and was a man who was dealing with a serious chemo session. So I left it.
I was so lucky to get in a box on the apex of the winning post - perfect view looking down the 4.5 Furlong straight.
I saw Frankel within spitting distance in the parade ring - and he didn't give a shit - a true star.
Seeing him cruise up on the bit with 2 furlongs to go was one awesome sight.
I've fucked up because I said I'd get some pics for here.
York - last Weds was the only place for horse racing fans to be in the last ten years.
It was so good seeing that horse come out of the stable as to say ' here we go - another lot to put in their place'
I will never forget it
