Belmont Stakes 2013 Results: Palace Malice scores at 13/1

Al Bello

The 2013 Triple Crown season comes to a finish with Palace Malice's victory in the Belmont Stakes.

Another year, another upset in the Belmont Stakes. Orb and Oxbow drew all the attention in the days and hours leading up to the 2013 Belmont Stakes but it was Palace Malice that played the roll of the spoiler at Elmont, New York. Sitting off of a solid early pace, Palace Malice assumed command at the top of the stretch and grinded his way to victory in the older of the three Triple Crown races. Oxbow finished second while Orb rounded out the trifecta. Incognito finished fourth.
