A look at the key dates on the road to the 2012 Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita.
With under a month remaining until the Breeders' Cup, we're quickly approaching key dates for pre-entries, field selection and the post positions draw. As is similar to prior years, the pre-entry process will close approximately two weeks prior to the Breeders' Cup, with the pre-entries announced a couple of days later.
The post position draw has been moved up the Monday of Breeders' Cup week, giving us an extra day to pour over the final entries, post positions and morning line odds.
Let's take a look at the key dates on the horizon:

Wednesday, October 24th - Pre-Entries & Race Order Announced (8:00am Pacific)
Monday, October 29th - Breeders' Cup Post Positions Draw
