2012 TCOA Stakes Results: Groupie Doll wins for fun

There was no stopping Groupie Doll as she won her fourth straight stakes race in the Grade 2 TCOA Stakes at Keeneland.

Groupie Doll found racing room at the top of the stretch, ran past pacesetter Honey Chile inside the final quarter mile and pulled away to easily win the Grade 2 TCOA Stakes at Keeneland on Saturday afternoon. Strike the Moon closed well from the back to grab the place spot while Honey Chile had to settle for third.

Groupie Doll, winner of three straight graded stakes races including the G1-Madison during the Keeneland Spring Meet, was the overwhelming choice of the betting public at post time odds of 2/5. She is a four-year-old filly by Bowman's Band out of a Silver Deputy mare (Deputy Doll), trained by William Bradley and ridden by Rajiv Maragh.
