-I'm currently working on putting together an excel file that will contain stakes results categorized loosely by the corresponding Breeders' Cup division.   I always find it helpful around Breeders' Cup time if I can quickly organize and compare stakes races during the year.

-Hollywood Hit set a Woodbine track record in the Grade 3 Vigil Stakes on Sunday, May 9th, when he stopped the timer in 1:20.07 for seven furlongs.  Check out the insane factions this colt put up on the front end: 22.08, 43:72, 1:07.33, and 1:20.07.  That second quarter went in an astonishing 21.64; Hollywood Hit simply ran them off their feet and is certainly a horse to watch going forward.

A quick glance of the results charts for the other sprint races at Woodbine that Sunday indicates that while the track was playing fairly fast, it didn't appear to be biased towards horses on the front end.

-Rainbow View's performance in the Grade 3 Gallorette on Saturday might have been my top performance of the weekend.  According to the Formulator interactive charts, Rainbow View ran the final 3/16 of a mile in a blistering 28.74 seconds under jockey Julien Leparoux.

Another filly that I'll be keeping my eye on from the Gallorette was third place finisher Ave (GB), a filly that actually ran the final 3/16ths faster than Rainbow View, :28.33.  Neither filly had a great trip in the race and both should be very strong bets in their next race.
