Uncle Mo does not win the Classic. Havre De Grace runs away with it. Females are a better story, in my opinion, and I love to see them beat the boys.
Gio Ponti romps in the Mile. (I love Goldikova, but she's had her time in the limelight).
Creative Cause wins the Juvenile. He's a real shining beacon for the breeding industry in that his female family's lineage is filled with sound winners, not big time pedigree-only broodmares.
The Factor wins the Sprint. I just like him. No reason behind that.
I want Caracortado in the Turf Sprint. His pedigree is different. No Mr. Prospector, and just a bunch of different names than you'd expect to see.
Shack wins the Dirt Mile after controlling the pace proving that 8f is the right distance for him.
These aren't endorsements of any of these runners. Nor does it mean I'd wager on them. Just in an ideal world, I'd love to see them come out on top. That's my two cents.
