Regally Ready broke alertly, took command early, and dominated the 2011 Breeders' Cup Turf at Churchill Downs this afternoon. None of Regally Ready's rivals could put enough pressure on him in the early going, allowing the winner to set relatively soft fractions for a five furlong turf sprint. Country Day and Perfect Officer rallied to finish 2nd and 3rd, while Great Attack rounded out the super.
Regally Ready is a four-year-old gelded son of More Than Read. He won his last race prior to the Breeders' Cup, the Grade 1 Nearctic at Woodbine.
