2011 REBEL STAKES: The Factor gets a chance to stretch his legs

New, 10 comments

On Saturday afternoon, Oaklawn Park in Arkansas will run the Grade 2 Rebel Stakes, a major stepping stone on the road to the 2011 Kentucky Derby.  This year's Rebel has drawn full field of 13 colts, all of which are looking to pick up valuable graded earnings on the path to Louisville.  Bob Baffert's The Factor, an impressive winner in the San Vicente last month at Santa Anita Park, will attempt to run two-turns for the first time in his career.

Below are the entries and post positions for the Rebel.  I'll update the morning line when it's available and I'll have an in-depth look at the field tomorrow afternoon.
