Preakness winner Shackleford and Belmont winner Ruler On Ice will square off at Monmouth Park on Sunday in the Grade 1 Haskell Invitational (post time 5:43) against a field of six other three-year-old colts.  Among the Haskell challengers are Illinois Derby winner Joe Vann, 3rd place Preakness finishers Astrology, and Louisiana Derby winner Pants On Fire

If either Shackleford or Ruler On Ice wins the Haskell, they will be clearly entrenched as the top horse in the three-year-old division.
