Some people may be under the mistaken impression that the Kentucky Derby is only about horses and ladies in big hats. That premise is patently false. The Kentucky Derby is also about bourbon. Whether you put it in a Mint Julep, or just enjoy it straight up, Derby Day isn't complete without a little of Kentucky's finest.

This is the second annual And Down The Stretch They Come Kentucky Derby Bourbon Thread. Got a favorite bourbon you want to share? Post it below. Looking for ideas on new bourbons to try for the Derby? Ask away. Are you currently sitting somewhere enjoying a bourbon and can still type coherently? Prove it!

Welcome to Derby Week!
