Gulftream Oaks winner Grace Hall leads an overflow field of 15 fillies in Friday's Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs (post time: 5:45pm Eastern; TV: NBCSN). Grace Hall, the 5/2 morning line favorite for the Oaks, finished second in last fall's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Churchill Downs. Oaks Lily is an alternate entry and will need one of the fourteen other fillies to scratch out of the race in order to make the starting gate.
Grace Hall is a three-year-old filly by Empire Maker out of a Ezzoud (IRE) mare (Season's Greetings (IRE)) trained by Anthony Dutrow and ridden by Javier Castellano.
