It's Million Preview Day at Arlington Park on Saturday with the G3-American Derby, G3-Arlington Handicap, G3-Modesty Handicap and G3-Stars and Stripes all on the schedule.The entire card at Arlington Park looks pretty nice today; 12 races, fairly large fields all day and some very competitive stakes races.
The Grade 1 Man o' War at Belmont features Irish shipper Treasure Beach (GB), winner of the 2011 Irish Derby at the Curragh. Out in Southern California, Betfair Hollywood Park will run the other Grade 1 race of the weekend, the American Oaks at 10 furlongs on the turf course. Lady of Shamrock is your 5/2 morning line favorite in that race.
I've got family in town tihis week so I haven't had any time to even look at a Form the last few days and it's unlikely I'll be able to watch much of anything this afternoon. I suppose a little handicapping break is warranted with Saratoga and Del Mar set to start in the next week.
