After many months of planning I've finally put together the first podcast for And Down The Stretch They Come. Our very own TFTribe joined me for the second half of the show to talk bloodstock and handicapping.
The podcast isn't yet on iTunes, but will hopefully be approved and available in the near future. (And, now we are!)
The first episode - which I'm sure I'm going to look back on several months from now and say, "man, I had no clue what I was doing! - rolled off the audio editor early this morning. This week's episode contains the following horse racing goodness:
- A look back at last weekend's stakes races - Fort Larned's win in the Whitney, plus the Hirsch, Vanderbilt and Best Pal.
- A conversation with TFTribe about the 2012 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale that took place last Monday and Tuesday night.
- Is Shackleford taking the right path to the Breeders' Cup? TFTribe and I had a few thoughts on that issue.
- A look ahead to this weekend's stakes races - Fourstardave, Gardenia, La Jolla and Monmouth Oaks.
Music on the podcast is provided by the Louisville-based Slygo off of their first album, The Game. You can purchase the album or download individual tracks at www.cdbaby.com.
