Verrazano, winner of the Grade 2 Tampa Bay Derby on March 9, leads the twenty-four betting interesting in the third and final pool in the official 2013 Kentucky Derby Future Wager. The final Derby Future Wager pool is set to open at noon Eastern on Friday, March 22 and will end at 6:00 pm on Sunday, March 24.
"The Field", an extremely popular betting interest in the Future Wager every year, is the second choice on the morning line at odds of 6/1. The second choice in terms of individual horse interests are Holy Bull winner Itsmyluckyday, Fountain of Youth winner Orb, and Gotham winner Vyjack.
Six new horses were added to the betting interests for Pool 3: San Felipe winner Hear the Ghost, Tampa Bay Derby runner-up Java's War, Mr. Palmer, Breeders' Cup Turf runner-up Noble Tune, and Rebel winner Will Take Charge.
