Mid-July is an exciting time for fans in California as Del Mar opens for its summer racing season. The first day of racing where the "Surf Meets the Turf" brought a 10 race card with Casa de Cambio getting the first win of the 2013 meeting and a different kind of race taking place later in the day. Fashion was also a popular topic at the track on Wednesday with race goers, including some famous celebrities, showing up in their finest clothing. Del Mar's meet ends on September 4.
