The National Handicapping Championship started today . Now a 3-day event sponsored by the Daily Racing Form and the NTRA, the champion will walk away with $750,000 dollars. Sadly, I didn't make that room this year, but I thought it would be fun to play along on Saturday. NHCQualify.com is actually offering a play-along as well for real money involving only the Day 2 mandatory races. Entries are just 50 bucks and can be purchased here.
The mandatory races for Day 2 are as follows: Gulfstream Park races 5 and 10, Tampa Bay races 8 and 9, Santa Anita Races 7, 8, and 9, and Golden Gate race 8.
I will also be playing 7 optional races from the list of contest tracks so that I might know what my actual Day 2 total would have been. Contest tracks are Aqueduct, Fairgrounds, Golden Gate, Gulfstream, Oaklawn, Santa Anita, and Tampa Bay Downs.
Two entries are allowed per person, and you keep your own total. I'll be in the thread just after lunch on Saturday. I hope to see you!
Good Luck!
