This post has nothing to do with the Belmont Stakes and nothing to do with horse racing, other than discussing some content that appears during the televising of horse racing on TV. Since we can't just sit around and re-hash and re-experience past Triple Crown pain 24/7, we certainly can take aim at those totally bitchin' commercials that run ad naseum on HRTV and TV.
Yesterday afternoon, TFTribe took a bold position with one of our favorite ad campaigns appearing on our beloved horse racing TV networks:
I miss the Theisman SuperBetaProstate commercial. This new one just ain't doing it for me.

I had a similar feeling but still hold dear the device to clean your ear:
.@SBNHorseRacing I'm kind of over SuperBetaProstate. Ear wax removal is king.
— Matt Gardner (@pressthepace) May 31, 2014
Which, of course, led to an astute observation and, apparently, a consensus on proper methods of cleaning ones ear:
@pressthepace @SBNHorseRacing that guy who cant use a qtip properly always makes me lol. Can he not brush his teeth or use the bathroom too?
— Rideout (@ThoroughbredAR) May 31, 2014
@ThoroughbredAR @SBNHorseRacing Especially the "ouch!" line. Really? That bad, huh? Okay. I'd hate to see him around a knife.
— Matt Gardner (@pressthepace) May 31, 2014
@ThoroughbredAR @pressthepace @SBNHorseRacing Insane. Just don't insert qtip straight-in... #duh

Tribe then attempted to turn the conversation back to its original course... which led to an observation of the wonders of FlexSeal!
@pressthepace I'm over it because they dumped Joe.

@GoDarkHorse @SBNHorseRacing Or your boat! or an oil leak. FlexSeal anything!
— Matt Gardner (@pressthepace) June 1, 2014
@pressthepace @SBNHorseRacing and paint to match the cracked flower pot! pic.twitter.com/nJ63L5pmoJ
— The Dark Horse (@GoDarkHorse) June 1, 2014
@GoDarkHorse @pressthepace that's probably a $3 pot with $6 of FlexSeal on it.
— SBNHorseRacing (@SBNHorseRacing) June 1, 2014
Now it's a $9 pot. Increased value! @SBNHorseRacing: @GoDarkHorse that's probably a $3 pot with $6 of FlexSeal on it.

Commercials on horse racing networks: Don't ever change. Ever.
