Belmont Stakes 2013: Post Position Draw

Orb and Oxbow will face a full field of challengers in Saturday's Grade 1 Belmont Stakes.

The draw for the 2013 Belmont Stakes will take place on Wednesday, June 5 from 10:00 am to noon Eastern. A full field of 14 colts (and a filly) are likely to draw into the race, led by Kentucky Derby winner Orb and Preakness winner Oxbow. Trainer Todd Pletcher is seeking to corner the market with possibly five horses in the field. HRTV will provide television coverage of the draw beginning at 10 a.m. 11 a.m. Eastern.

The Belmont is the feature race on fantastic Saturday card that will include the G1-Manhattan Handicap, G1-Just A Game, G2-Woody Stephens and G2-True North Handicap. First race on Saturday is 11:35 am Eastern.

Belmont Stakes television coverage will be provided once again by NBC and the NBC Sports Network. Coverage of the under card on NBC SN runs from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm Eastern. NBC's coverage runs from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm Eastern. TVG and HRTV will also have coverage of some of the under card races.
