The 2012 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe Festival at Longchamp begins early Saturday morning for those of us here in North America. First post on Saturday is at 6:25am Eastern time (an ungodly 3:25am for us West Coast folks) and 7:20am on Sunday. Post time for Sunday's Arc is scheduled for 10:25am Eastern / 7:25am Pacific.
Sunday's Longchamp card features, in addition to the Arc, six Group 1 races (and a G1 Arabian race). The Saturday card features four Group 2 races and a G1 Arabian race.
The course at Longchamp is listed as "VERY SOFT" for the card on Saturday. UPDATE: The course is now rated as "HEAVY" at Longchamp.
