Noble Tune closed hard along the inside part of the Churchill Downs turf course to win the Grade 2 American Turf on the Kentucky Oaks day under card. Admiral Kitten made a good late move from the back of the back and finished second while War Dancer finished third to complete the trifecta.
Noble Tune, winner of the Grade 3 Pilgrim Stakes at Belmont last October, is a three-year-old son of Unbridled's Song out of a Storm Cat mare (Serena's Cat), trained by Chad Brown and ridden by Javier Castellano.
