Morning line favorite Cairo Prince went to the gate as the clear choice of the crowd at odds of 2/1 and ran to every penny of his odds as he steamrolled his rivals en route to an easy win the Grade 2 Holy Bull Stakes at Gulfstream park on Saturday afternoon. Coup de Grace and Almost Famous set solid fractions on the front end through a half mile in 46.75. Cairo Prince stalked the pace setting pair all the way down the backstretch, putting himself in perfect position at the top of the stretch to roll past the leaders. The rest of the field was quickly left behind and other than a late charge from Conquest Titan to finish a distant second, none of challengers could mount any kind of threat to the winner.

Intense Holiday finished third while pacesetter Almost Famous rounded out the superfecta.

Cairo Prince is a three-year-old colt by Pioneer of the Nile out of a Holy Bull mare (Holy Bubbette), trained by Kiaran McLaughlin and ridden by Luis Saez.
